Day
01 Arrive Cochin
 Upon arrival in Cochin
airport, you would be met and received by our company representative.
Cochin known as the Queen of Arabian Sea, is one of the most famous
historical cities of Kerala. Cochin is also famous for its
exceptionally beautiful backwaters and beaches. Transfer to hotel. Rest
of the day free to relax. In the evening, enjoy Kathakali
performance-the traditional dance form of Kerala. Overnight stay at
hotel.
Day 02 Cochin - Alleppey (63 kms/1.5 hrs)
After breakfast check out at hotel and drive to Alleppey. Upon arrival
in Alleppey check into your traditional houseboat for overnight
backwater cruise ending next day morning at Kumarakom. Enjoy nature at
its bountiful best as your houseboat passes by charming villages, lush
green paddy fields and other scenic delights. Stay overnight in your
houseboat besides enjoying the best of traditional food.
Day 03 Kumarakom - Kollam (110 kms/3 hrs)
 Disembark your houseboat at
Kumarakom. Later drive to one of the oldest ports of the Malabar Coast
and were once the centre of international spice trade. Kollam is famous
for its delicious Cashew and Seafood. After checking in hotel we set
out to see some historic remains and the temples built in ornate style.
We also visit Kollam beach. Overnight at hotel
Day 04 Kollam -Kovalam (76kms/2 hrs)
After breakfast check out at hotel and drive to Kovalam. Kovalam in the
local language means, place fringed with coconut palms, and indeed it
is. Kovalam is full of coconut trees and soothing seashore, one of the
best in India for swimming and other water sports. Upon arrival check
into hotel. Rest of the day is free to unwind at beach. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 05 Kovalam
Full day is free to relax at the beach. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 Kovalam - Trivandrum - Depart (16
kms/0.5 hr)
Morning after breakfast at hotel drive to Trivandrum to catch your
flight to onwards destination. |
