01 Cochin-Arrival
 Upon arrival in Cochin
airport, you would be met and received by our company representative.
Cochin known as the Queen of Arabian Sea, is one of the most famous
historical cities of Kerala. Cochin is also famous for its
exceptionally beautiful backwaters and beaches. Transfer to hotel. Rest
of the day free to relax. In the evening, enjoy Kathakali
performance-the traditional dance form of Kerala. Overnight stay at
hotel.
Day 02 Cochin - Marari (55 kms/1.5 hrs)
Morning after breakfast at hotel take a city tour of Cochin visiting
the famous Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), St. Francis Church,
Jewish Synagogue and Chinese fishing nets. After sightseeing, drive to
Marari, a famous and exclusive beach resort destination in Kerala. Upon
arrival, check into beach resort. Rest of the day free to relax.
Overnight stay at resort.
Day 03 Marari
 After breakfast at the
resort, the day is free for you to relax on the pristine beaches and
enjoy the morning sun. Indulge in the many beach and water activities
that are available at the resort or take a much deserving break at the
Ayurveda Center. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 04 Marari - Cochin - Departure (55
kms/1.5 hrs)
Morning after breakfast, check-out from resort and drive back to Cochin
Airport to catch your flight to your onwards destination. |

Day
01 Arrive Cochin
 Upon arrival in Cochin

Day 02 Cochin - Munnar (140 kms/4.5 hrs)
Morning after breakfast at hotel take a city tour of Cochin visiting
the famous Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), St. Francis Church,
Jewish Synagogue and Chinese fishing nets. After sightseeing, drive to
Munnar. Upon arrival at Munnar, once the summer resort of the erstwhile
British Govt. in South India, is located at the confluence of 03 rivers
as the very name signifies. The sprawling tea plantations and
picturesque towns make Munnar a popular hill resort town in South
India. Later enjoy sightseeing tour of Munnar, visiting tea
plantations, the Eravikulam National Park - home of the endangered
Nilgiri Thar (Ibex), followed by visit to the Mattupetty dam, the Indo
Swiss Dairy farm, the Kundala Lake and other scenic spots. After
sightseeing, return to resort for your overnight stay.
Day 03 Munnar - Periyar (120 kms/4 hrs)
 Morning after breakfast at
hotel drive to Periyar. Periyar has one of the world's most fascinating
Natural wildlife reserves noted for its geography, diverse wildlife and
scenic beauty. 1300 hrs - Arrive at Periyar and check in at hotel.
Evening : 1530 hrs - Boat ride on the Lake Periyar where one can have a
unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety
of a boat on the lake. The greatest attraction of Periyar, however are
the herds of wild elephants that come down to play in the lake. After
sightseeing, return to resort for your overnight stay.
Day 04 Periyar - Kumarakom (125 kms/4 hrs)
After breakfast check out at hotel and drive to Kumarakom. Upon arrival
in Kumarakom check into your traditional houseboat for overnight
backwater cruise ending next day morning at Alleppey. Enjoy nature at
its bountiful best as your houseboat passes by charming villages, lush
green paddy fields and other scenic delights. Stay overnight in your
houseboat besides enjoying the best of traditional food.
Day 05 Alleppey - Cochin - Depart (63
kms/1.5 hrs)
Disembark your houseboat at Alleppey and drive back to Cochin airport
to catch your flight to your onwards destination. |
