After breakfast at hotel, drive to Puttaparthi, located in the south-west of Andhra Pradesh, Puttaparthi is surrounded by arid and rocky hills bordering Karnataka. Famous for its Sathya Sai Baba Mandir, it is among the most famous religious tourist destinations in the world. Overnight at hotel. Day 03 Hassan - Mysore ( 115 / 3 hrs.) After breakfast visit to the famous Hoysala temples of "Belur & Halebid". The 12th century temples of Belur and Halebid stands the most beautiful for its most beautiful sculptures when compared to any other temples in south India. Typically these temples are squat & star shaped. Its outstanding sculptures all over the walls and pillars states the stories from the old epics of Ramayana, Mahabharatha & Bhagavath Geetha enabling to know of Hindu culture. Day 04 Mysore After breakfast we proceed for the city tour of Mysore visiting Maharaja's Palace built as recently as 1897, which is one of the biggest in India; St Philomena's Church etc; Sri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery housed in the Jagmohan Palace, which has a collection of exquisite paintings. Later we visit Devaraj Market - Mysore's landmark, the over a century-old Devaraja Market. The market is the most popular attraction among tourists. The much-photographed piles of colours used for decorating idols, the banana halls, the wonderful array of vegetables and above all the flowers make it one of India's most attractive markets. Day 05 Mysore - Bangalore ( 139 / 2.5 hrs.) - Depart Morning after breakfast at hotel, proceed for city tour of Gangtok visiting Himalayan Zoological park, Rumtek monastery, Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok.
